Here I Am

The hiatus is over and I am back working on websites! The past month and a half I have been working a lot of over time at my full time job which put a lot of stress on this job so I had to slow it down for awhile. Now my full time job is slowing down and it's time to focus on my dream - making this a huge success.

Through the Never

The deadline is inching closer and closer. I coded until I couldn't code anymore last night (you make lots of typos when you're exhausted!) SocialStatus needs to be code complete no matter what tonight even if it means staying up all night. Tomorrow Switch Gaming needs to be code complete and uploaded and then SocialStatus will need to be uploaded as well.

It should be very interesting to say the least. But hey, who needs sleep when you're a machine?

Keeping On

It's been a long day, but I think it's also been very productive. Got a lot done with the Switch Gaming "battles" system hopefully that turns out good. Switching gears now to focus on putting some code behind the Social Status site. Everything should come together pretty well on Friday night!

SocialStatus!

Submitted the design to our client and he approved of it. The name has been changed to Social Status, which I think is generally a better name anyways! Broke down the mockup template and put it on the PHP "frame" I have and now it's ready to start being made. First though, gotta get some dinner. I didn't have any lunch and so I am starting to feel the pull of fatigue on me with no fuel to keep going.

Waiting to hear back from our Switch Gaming client before going forward with that site. It's going to be tricky but I'm confident I can get that done this week.

Let the work begin

Two websites in one week will be a fun task. To start the morning off I am working on mocking up the template for the Facebook status generator. I'm going to see how far I can get with that project today before switching gears and working on the new Switch Gaming clans functionality.

It's going to be a busy week.

Client #2 & Switch Gaming Clans

I am very proud of where I'm at right now. It's sometimes easy to find your first client, but finding another client and maintaining that success can be somewhat of a process. Thankfully I am fortunate to announce that MWD has taken on it's second client, who wants a Facebook Status Generator.

Add on top of that I am doing an update to Switch Gaming to include a clan gaming system and all of this must be done next week. I guess the human body doesn't need sleep to function.

MWD Website Launch

Very proud to announce the launch of our company website. It has been some time in the coming and I have had ideas brewing for it for quite awhile. I am very happy with the way the design and functionality came together, I think that it really is a great place to showcase all of the work that goes on.

There are already a couple of projects in the Showroom. The Blog Nao site and Switch Gaming. Hopefully there will be much more coming soon. As far as the design goes, simplicity is at the core. The background is a carbon fiber pattern I designed in Photoshop. The rest is gradients with varying transparency to give the site a certain look with orange accents to keep things from getting boring.

I will be blogging daily as sort of a log for everything that I do. I'm sure there will be lots of blurb entries as I just keep moving through the work I am doing, and I might even throw in some personal stuff here and there to keep things interesting. Hopefully this website is the stepping stone that will land us many more clients.
